| NAP Acoustics supplied 3 acoustic
enclosures for the main power generators on the Tunu
North Platform. The generators are powered by 800kW Caterpillar gas engines and all equipment is designed for Class 1 Zone 2 hazardous area. NAP supplied the complete structural frame, acoustic enclosure panels, powered ventilation system and CO2 fire fighting system with gas detection and alarm system. The complete enclosures, which were built and fully assembled in Singapore, weighed 42 tonnes. They were fitted onto the platform topside near Jakarta before being towed to the field at the Mahakam River Delta, East Kalimantan. The platform was commissioned in May 1998.
